WELCOME TO WCCA
Western Canadian Canine Academy provides professional dog training for Airdrie, Calgary and surrounding area. We strive in helping you strengthen the bond between you and your canine companion. We believe a positive and balanced relationship is key to a comfortable, confident dog. Here at WCCA we focus on helping people become better handlers with their canine companions while using a clear communication system with verbal markers to reinforce positive behaviors. Our small group classes give everyone plenty of individual attention to help you succeed while getting results with your training.
Are you frustrated with your dog’s behavior? Is your dog barking without reason? Waking you up during your precious sleep at night? Are you sick of coming home to unwelcome presents on your new carpet? Are you tired of your dog taking YOU for walks instead of you taking THEM for walks? Is it difficult to take your dog anywhere because of your dog reacting towards other dogs or people? Have your hundred dollar shoes been reduced to unrecognizable clumps of leather? Is your dog nervous or afraid in different environments or around strangers and other dogs? If any of these questions bring up painful memories, perhaps it is time to look for answers. It is time for you to take control of the situation and start training your dog, instead of your dog training you.
