We are pleased to offer group classes instructed by two Certified Master Trainers; both graduates of Canada West Canine Centre 1998/1999 respectively.
Danielle Ekelund & Angela Fleming have both been teaching dogs and their people since completion of certification and have combined their years of experience and knowledge to offer comprehensive courses designed to improve your relationship between your family and your canine companion.
Over the years, both Danielle and Angela have evolved as trainers by staying actively involved in learning, teaching and competition with their own dogs as well as client dogs.
This experience includes seminars too numerous to list; competitive CKC obedience, tracking, detection work, French Ringsport, Schutzhund, Service/helper dog training, Rally obedience, and Canine Good Neighbor. Both have dealt with a variety of breeds and temperaments throughout the years.

You may register for classes online or by phone. The registration form will take you to paypal where you can pay for the class that you have choosen to hold your spot. After filling out the registration form you will be sent a confirmation email within 2 business days with the details. If you choose not to pay through paypal payments by cheque or cash my be dropped of at Bones barks and Baths to hold you spot in the desired class.
Puppy Education Class - 5 wks - $150.00 including GST
*First class is for OWNERS ONLY*
Start off on the right paw with your new puppy! During puppy class we will educate you on becoming a positive and consistent leader from the start to help your puppy grow into a confident dog. We will cover topics such as crate training, house training, grooming, nutrition and also common puppy behaviors, mouthing, nipping, jumping, barking, and greeting people and other dogs politely. It is also a great opportunity for your puppy to socialize with both humans and other dogs in a appropriate manner. There will be playtime and question period during each class. This class also includes some basic commands and fun puppy games! Puppies should start class as soon as possible and no later than 20 weeks of age. Puppies must be healthy and present proof of second set of vaccinations.

Basic Obedience Class - 7 wks/1hr per week- $210.00 including GST
First class is for OWNERS ONLY as this will be a registration class to cover payment, keys to leadership, our methods, equipment, and a demonstration with a trained dog.
Basic Obedience will help you gain leadership and a bond between you and your dog that includes trust and respect. In this class we will teach you how to train your dog all the basic commands: heel, automatic sit, sit/stay, down/stay, recall, figure eight and stand. You will also work towards giving your dog commands from 20 feet away on a long line. We work on proofing these commands with distractions to give you solid obedience with your dog in all environments. We can also cover many behavior problems throughout the classes. We encourage all family members to attend as it is important that the whole family is consistent while your dog is learning his place in his family/pack. This class is for dogs 5 months and older.

Intermediate Class - 6 wks - $180.00 including GST
Intermediate classes will take you to the next level with your canine pal. These classes are for the dogs that have completed the basic obedience classes or a evaluation by the trainer. Intermediate focuses on working with your dog off leash with stronger distractions. We will start by reviewing the basics then move on to commands such as moving down, drop on recall, finish, sits and down stays out of sight, stand off leash, and commanding your dog with hand signals only. This course is a lot of fun and is challenging for you and your dog.
