About Danielle
Danielle has had a passion for dogs since she was a young girl.
As her love for dogs grew it drove her to pursue a career as a
professional dog trainer. She attended Canada West Canine Centre
and graduated as a Certified Master Trainer in 1998. She then started her own
dog training business in Invermere B.C. The dog world then brought
Danielle to Calgary where she started Western Canadian Canine Academy.
Danielle strives in helping people build a happy and balanced relationship
between owner and dog. She enjoys teaching people how to be a
positive and consistent leader so their dog can feel comfortable and
confident. She believes in working with each dog as a individual and
always trains according to their own personality as they are all so different.
Danielle has titled several dogs in Canadian Kennel Club obedience and is
currently training her belgian malinois puppy Vader to compete in CKC obedience
and French Ring sport. He is a natural and loves every minute of his training.
She believes that training never ends and we learn something from
every dog. She attends ongoing educational seminars to extend her
training as much as she can.

Danielle's Dogs
Balcrieff Zara CD, CGC, TT
Zara is a 10 year old black and red german shepherd from Czech and German lines. Zara has experience in protection, tracking, narcotics, and excells at her obedience. Now that Zara is my retired girl she loves to just hang out, enjoys her daily walks and her favorite is to sit and share some popcorn.
Whispawillow's Fortunate Son (Kane) CD, CGN, TT
Kane is a 5 year old black and tan german shepherd with American lines and great working drive. Kane is trained in French Ring Sport, excells at tracking and loves to showoff in obedience. Most of all kane loves to go for a swim or a hike in the mountains.

Top Gun's Invader (Vader)
Vader is a 1 year old red Belgian Malinois from french lines with incrediable working drive. He is a powerful boy and is a great pleasure to work and live with. He loves the chance to work and is crazy about playing ball. Vader is currently being trained in French Ring Sport drug detection and CKC obedience. We hope to achieve his CD, Brevet in 2010.
